Asociación Navarra de Diabetes (ANADI)
The Asociación Navarra de Diabetes (ANADI), based in Pamplona, Spain, is a non-profit non-governmental organization established in 1983 with a mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with diabetes and their families. With 42 years of experience in the field, ANADI provides a multidisciplinary approach to diabetes management, offering services such as psychological support, individualized care programs, and health education workshops. In the DiabetEASE project, ANADI serves as the primary expert and lead for the development of the Learning Toolkit, ensuring all training materials are evidence-based and aligned with the real-world needs of those living with the condition. Beyond content creation, the organization is responsible for hosting the project’s capacity-building sessions in Spain and leading the overall evaluation of the project’s impact. Their extensive background includes specialized training for school staff and the organization of sports activities—such as summer camps and trekking—designed to promote self-care and autonomy for children and adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes.
